Metal Kngdom (Chile) - 8.3/10
For someone that have not had the luck to listen in fulness to Seraphim; would be able to think that it treats only of a copy "Made In Taiwan" of the Finns of Nightwish, well, it is doubtless the link with Nightwish and Finland, the musical approach, obviously the "Pay" voice and of course in be mastered in Finnvox are sufficient motives.

Nevertheless, very notorious differences exist that do to this band to have an own personality, uniting the force of the Swedish Metal with Nightwish, Sonata Arctica and Children of Bodom. As said you, Finland and Sweden would be the bases that define "The Soul That Never you Gave", "Pay" in the voices, 100% lyrics; give a smoothness in the notable interpretation (very oriental); with a very thin voice that, to moments, themselves does not adapt completely to the music; without doubt the incorporation of more lyrical choruses they helped to do not listen to "Pay” at times solitary.

It is important to mention besides the backing vocals, á la Gothenburgo style (a little forced), very adequate, that mainly complies a function of "decoration" breaking abruptly the plan and delivering shades.

Finally the rest of band have a notable level, a great deal more technical than any Finnish band, quick, extremely powerful guitars and of greater quality interpretation. "The Soul That Never Dies", presents a perhaps difficult, atypical atmosphere to understand, when you listen the album for first time, but then transforming into a very interesting album.

The production, sound and execution are excellent
